Stremini AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our application collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use the Stremini AI Chatbot, Keyboard, and Screen Scanner services.
2. Information We Collect and Process
We prioritize data minimization. We do not collect or store personal information for tracking purposes. The data processed by the app is transient and used solely to provide the requested AI services.
a. User-Provided Content
- Text & Queries: When you use the chatbot or keyboard to ask a question, the text you input is transmitted to our secure backend to generate an AI response.
- Images: If you choose to attach an image for analysis, it is temporarily transmitted to our backend for processing and immediately discarded after the response is generated.
b. Screen Content (Accessibility Service)
- Purpose: We use the Android Accessibility Service API specifically to read text on your screen only when you explicitly trigger the "Scan" feature. This is necessary to analyze content for potential scams, fraud, or dangerous patterns.
- Privacy: Screen content is processed in real-time. We do not record your screen in the background, store screenshots, or persist screen data on our servers.
c. Audio Data
- Permissions:
android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO
- Usage: We access your microphone only when you activate voice commands or voice-to-text features. Audio data is converted to text for processing and is not stored.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information solely to:
- Provide AI-generated responses to your queries.
- Analyze screen text for safety risks (scam detection).
- Process voice commands.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.
4. Data Transmission and Security
- Transmission: Data (text, screen text, or images) sent to our AI backend is transmitted securely using encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
- Storage: We do not maintain a database of user conversations or screen scans. Data is processed ephemerally.
5. Accessibility Services Disclosure
The Stremini Screen Scanner utilizes the Android AccessibilityService API.
- Why we use it: To detect text on your screen when you tap the "Scan" button, allowing our AI to warn you of potential scams or fraudulent content.
- What we DO NOT do: We do not change user settings without permission, prevent users from disabling the service, or use the API to record audio or steal passwords.
6. Keyboard Extension (Input Method)
Stremini AI includes a custom keyboard.
- Security: We do not collect or store sensitive information such as passwords or credit card numbers typed via the keyboard.
- AI Processing: Keystrokes are processed locally unless you explicitly engage the "AI Assistant" feature to rewrite or generate text.
7. Permissions
The app requires the following permissions to function:
- Internet: To communicate with AI servers.
- System Alert Window: To display the chatbot and scam warning overlays over other apps.
- Foreground Service: To ensure the overlay and scanner remain active while you are using them.
8. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
